Welcome on the Web site of the QUEBEC INTERNATIONAL COACH FEDERATION (QICF).
With more than 200 members, QICF continues to grow and to offer many services to its members: the Coach Referral Service, the Coach Quebec Newsletter, proficiency workshops, audio conferences, discussion groups, the Professional Coaching Promotional Week, the Annual Meeting and the accreditation supporting activities.
The local sections of Montreal, Quebec, Estrie and Outaouais offer various stimulating networking and professional development activities for members of their respective regions.
Following closely the International Coach Federation (ICF) strategic plan, our main efforts are centered on the promotion of accreditation of coaches in order to ensure professional coaching services to the public and to organizations by adequately trained coaches. Many coaching training schools are now able to prepare coaches for their exams at ICF. Concerning the subject of accreditation, ICF has undertaken to update the accreditation processes in order that the coaching profession meets the highest norms of professional acknowledgement in the world.
QICF can only assume its role of spokesman and driving force behind the profession by drawing from the voluntary resources of the Quebec community of coaches. Your commitment is essential to keep your professional association alive.
